Canadian Dundee, 24 year old 15.3
hand, blood bay gelding. Bare foot and Sound. No vices.UTD on
vaccinations. Excellent for the vet and farrier. Although, Dundee is a
Registered Thoroughbred he looks like a Quarter Horse. He has great
conformation along with a strong back and topline. He is kind, gentle
and forgiving. He has great ground manners and loves an affectionate
grooming. (He will go to sleep). He has had one owner prior to me. The
gentleman bred him to race. Never raced, he was too slow. So he became a
trail horse. For the past 3 years I have used him as a beginner lesson
horse for children, adults and my 60 year old mom. He stands when
mounted from a block fence, rock or the ground. He is good in the arena
but, prefers the trails. He is sure footed. Dundee needs a confident,
relaxed and leisurely rider. He is not spooky or nervous. He is
sensitive, has a fast paced walk and is the leader most all the time on
the trails. He has never had any lameness issues that I know of. Had a
bad reaction to a series of vaccinations the first year I got him and
coliced very mildly. Since then I spilt the vaccinations and he has been
perfect ever since! Gets along with others in the h erd and on the
trail. I am only selling him due to an emergency stay at the vet clinic
