Rocky - Trail Trial Regional Champion
A 14 yr old Imported Irish Warmblood. He is by
Diamond Serpant by Kind of Diamonds. Very Handsome, terrific
conformation, nice muscular build, broad back, big hip, shoulder, good
amount of bone, good feet and long legs. Great personality -
sweet, polite and kind. Outstanding ground manners. He's
been in western training coming from a jumping background, which did not
suit him. In 2008 was shown successfully in trials and is buckle
winner.
Good in the arena but, prefers the trails-loves water. Will collect and move laterally, knows haunches in/out and can get the correct lead from a stand still. Beautiful gaits: super walk, excellent trot, floaty extended trot and canter. Temperment lends him more towards a career in equitation, dressage and trail. Excellent for a sensitive, confident advanced rider or an intermediate rider with an attentive trainer to maintain his skills. He is an easy keeper, good to shoe, bathe, load, haul, he gets along great with other horses in the pasture and he has no vices. UTD on shoeing and vaccinations.
